Conditions for Admission

Find out more about the admission criteria for the DAV’s education and training as well as the various possibilities to submit the necessary evidence.

Conditions for Admission: Mathematics

In accordance with the current examination regulations the prerequisite for admission to DAV education and training is evidence of a completed university education (a university ‘degree‘) in Germany as well as evidence of mathematics skills in line with the DAV’s schedule of learning objectives. Degrees from foreign universities will be checked for comparability by the admissions committee on application.

Evidence of mathematics skills can be provided using one of the following options.

Evidence via a DAV Correspondent at University

If your university has a DAV correspondent, evidence of foundation skills in Mathematics can be obtained from this correspondent.

Check here → here whether your university has a DAV correspondent.

Conditions for Admission: Stochastics

In addition to the aforementioned mathematics skills candidates applying to the DAV education and training programme must provide evidence of basic stochastics skills in line with the DAV’s schedule of learning objectives.

Evidence of these skills can be provided using one of the following options.

Evidence via a DAV Correspondent at University

If your university has a DAV correspondent, evidence of foundation skills in stochastics can be obtained from this correspondent.

Check here → whether your university has a DAV correspondent.

Evidence of at least 30 credit points in stochastics exams

If your university has no DAV correspondent this evidence can be substituted with evidence that you have at least 30 ECTS credit points in stochastics exams.

Please list your stochastics exams here in your application for admission. The admissions committee will decide whether your stochastics examinations can be recognised as an alternative form of evidence.
