Education and Training in Detail

DAV Training

With DAV training, you lay the foundation for your actuarial career. After successfully completing it, you receive the title “Actuary DAV” (male) or “Actuary DAV” (female) and thus the eligibility for membership in the DAV.

Additional Qualification CADS

The additional qualification of “Certified Actuarial Data Scientist” (CADS) is aimed at fully qualified Actuary DAVs who want to further specialize and expand their field of work to the area of data science in the context of insurance and financial services.

Additional Qualification CERA

The CERA additional qualification is aimed at fully trained actuaries (DAV) in the field of Enterprise Risk Management. It is an internationally recognized supplementary education, jointly established by 13 actuarial associations worldwide, to strengthen the role of actuaries as risk managers.

Additional Qualification IVS

"IVS Experts" are trained pension actuaries who are available for advice and support on all matters related to various pension systems. After successfully completing the training, you can apply for IVS membership. A membership in the DAV is a prerequisite for this.
