The IVS-Forum

Every autumn, the IVS organises a specialist event for all actuaries who are interested in the topics of occupational pensions and general questions about the structure of our pension system in Germany. Renowned speakers on current specialist issues, discussion rounds and insights into the work of the Pension Committee will ensure a varied and challenging programme, which will be rounded off by networking opportunities.

The IVS General Assembly will take place immediately after the IVS Forum.

The Programme

Look forward to a diverse and engaging day of presentations featuring leading experts from academia and industry. The congress will focus on the recommendations of the Pension Reform Commission and their implications for the work of actuaries.

Participants will gain insights into the latest developments in occupational pension schemes (bAV) and the statutory pension system, while exploring key topics such as financing, net replacement rates, employer obligations, and profit-sharing mechanisms. The program also includes practical case studies on actuarial assumptions for pension funds, updates on the HEUBECK mortality tables, and an overview of European developments, including the Institutions for Occupational Retirement Provision (IORP II) Directive.
 

Networking event

Thanks to the generous support of our partners, we are once again able to organise a cosy evening get-together, which offers a relaxed atmosphere for networking – including with participants of the aba Autumn Conference of the Professional Association of Mathematical Experts, taking place the following day.

There is no cost to you. However, to ensure we can plan this part of the programme effectively, you must register for the get-together in advance. You will also be helping us with our preparations if you indicate when registering whether you will be attending the aba Autumn Conference on 23 September 2026 following the IVS Conference on 22 September.
