The IVS-Forum

Every autumn, the IVS organises a specialist event for all actuaries who are interested in the topics of occupational pensions and general questions about the structure of our pension system in Germany. Renowned speakers on current specialist issues, discussion rounds and insights into the work of the Pension Committee will ensure a varied and challenging programme, which will be rounded off by networking opportunities.

The IVS General Assembly will take place immediately after the IVS Forum.

The Programme

In this anniversary year, you can once again look forward to an expanded programme: the event begins at 11.00 am. The focus will be on a critical expert examination of the reform proposals put forward by the Pension Commission. In addition, there will be many other fascinating topics on the agenda, as well as the IVS General Meeting from 5.30 pm. The get-together will take place immediately afterwards.

The 47th IVS General Meeting

As usual, the IVS General Meeting will follow the forum, starting at approximately 5.30 pm. As in previous years, the General Meeting will be livestreamed, whilst all members will have the opportunity to cast their votes via a single electronic platform, starting two weeks before the actual meeting. You will receive the login details for the POLYAS voting tool by email in good time before 8 September 2026. The invitation to the General Meeting is expected to be sent to your postbox in mid-July. You will then also find all documents and further information compiled in the members’ area of our website under ‘My DAV’ at Association Topics / General Meetings / IVS.

Networking event

Thanks to the generous support of our partners, we are once again able to organise a cosy get-together in the evening, providing a relaxed atmosphere for networking – including with participants of the aba Autumn Conference of the Professional Association taking place the following day.
