Programme – What to expect
Once again this year, the conference programme offers a comprehensive insight into current developments and challenges facing the insurance and finance sectors. In a series of specialist presentations, experts will share their knowledge, present new findings and discuss key topics from their respective fields. The first day of the conference will focus on the ASTIN and LEBEN specialist groups. The second day is dedicated to the specialist groups ADS/AI, AFIR/ERM and KRANKEN. All programme items will be held in a hybrid format, so that participants – whether they are attending in person in Mannheim or online – can follow the presentations, ask questions and actively take part in the discussions.
DAV Internal – A Preview of the 2028 Anniversary Programme
The ‘DAV Internal’ session, which takes place on the first day of the Autumn Conference immediately following the specialist programme, invites all members to take part in an open discussion on current issues facing the association. The event on 16 November 2026 will focus on the key theme ‘The Impact of Medical Progress’, which will also form a key part of the programme for the 2028 anniversary congress marking the profession’s 125th anniversary. The Executive Board’s working group set up to address this topic will provide an insight into its interdisciplinary work, in which the integration of medical expertise plays a particularly important role. As demonstrated by the podcast series DENK LAUT – with the four episodes on medical progress published to date on actuview – increasingly modern treatment methods for common conditions, as well as targeted longevity research, are ensuring that the desire for a longer and, as far as possible, healthy life is receiving ever greater attention. What this might mean for the insurance industry and occupational pension schemes will be presented in the 90-minute session concluding the first day. As always, participation in “DAV intern” is free of charge. Please do register for the event, however, to gain access to the event platform.
Get-together – Networking on the first evening
Make the most of the Autumn Conference not only for professional insights, but also for personal exchanges with colleagues from the industry. We look forward to welcoming you on 16 November 2026 from 5.30 pm to 9.30 pm to our traditional get-together on the Marktplatz. In a relaxed atmosphere, this is an opportunity to make new contacts, maintain existing networks and round off the first day of the conference together. Thanks to the kind support of our conference partners Aeiforia, BELTIOS, Deloitte, PwC and Triple A – Risk Finance, refreshments will once again be provided this year. Attendance at the get-together is free of charge. However, to help us plan more effectively, we would ask you to indicate your intention to attend when registering for the autumn conference.
ASTIN Consilium – A warm-up on the eve of the conference
Even before the official start of the autumn conference, the ASTIN specialist group invites you to its traditional Consilium. This year, the meeting will once again take place separately on the evening before the conference – on Sunday, 15 November 2026, from 7.00 pm at the Kurfürst am Markt in Mannheim. Take this opportunity to engage in professional and personal discussions in a relaxed atmosphere and get in the mood for the autumn conference together with other participants. Please help us with our planning by registering for the Consilium when you book your place.
