The scripts for the respective DAA seminars are protected by copyright and can only be purchased as part of attending a seminar.
Exception: For candidates who need to retake an exam and have already attended a seminar in that subject at the DAA, it is possible to obtain the current script at a reduced price. The cost for the script is then 1/3 of the current seminar fee.
If interested, please contact the DAV office's secretariat by email at info@aktuar.de.
The examinations for the subjects Actuarial Data Science Basic and Advanced take the form of a written examination that lasts 180 minutes. Examinations for ADS Basic and Immersion are held in May each year; examinations for ADS Advanced and Completion are held in October. This is to ensure that all future CADS graduates have practical user knowledge.
Below you will find instructions for taking the practical examinations in the subjects CADS Immersion and Completion, as well as the associated mandatory testing process:
Instructions for taking the e-exam – practical examination (in German)
Instructions for conducting the e-exam test process – practical examination (in German)
If subjects of the specialist courses of the DAV education programme in Actuarial Data Science Basic (ADS 1) and Actuarial Data Science Advanced (ADS 2) have already been successfully passed, these will automatically be credited as passed in your CADS education programme, so that the only remaining subjects that have not yet been successfully completed need to be taken.
