Susanna Adelhardt, who was elected chairwoman of the German Actuarial Association yesterday, expressed criticism of the reform proposals negotiated by the CDU and SPD on the subject of old-age provision during a panel discussion at the association's annual conference. “In many areas, the major breakthrough that is needed is not yet apparent.”
