Principles for the governance of international actuarial work

The IAA has developed non-binding principles for the governance of actuarial work in an international context. These serve as an aid for its member associations and are of particular interest to internationally active actuaries. The Committee for Professional Issues has decided to make these principles available in a report.

Abstract

The International Actuarial Association (IAA) has drawn up the following principles for the governance of actuarial work in an international context as non-binding guidance for its member associations. As these statements on the cross-border application of the professional code of conduct are also of interest to actuaries working internationally, the Committee on Professional Issues has decided to make them available in the form of a report on the results.

In order to clarify which specific professional requirements are referred to in each case, reference is made to the relevant DAV regulations at the appropriate point.
