DAV Salary Survey 2025: Actuaries are satisfied with their remuneration

The German Association of Actuaries (DAV) has published its latest salary survey in collaboration with the consulting company Deloitte. The survey provides a detailed picture of the remuneration structure for actuaries in Germany, supplemented for the first time by salary data provided directly by companies. The complete study is now available for purchase.

More than 2,000 people, or around a quarter of all DAV members and participants in the DAV examination system, took part in the online survey. The results show that the median total target remuneration in 2025 is €90,200, which represents an increase of 20% compared to the last DAV study in 2017. Remuneration is particularly high in the financial sector and in the state of Bavaria.
