DAV, IVS, and DGVFM congratulate the German team on their second place finish at the 2025 Central European Mathematical Olympiad

From August 25 to 30, 2025, 66 young people from eleven Central European countries gathered in Chemnitz, this year's Capital of Culture, for the 19th Central European Mathematical Olympiad (MEMO). This is a transnational mathematics competition that has been held in one of the participating countries every year since 2007. The German Association of Actuaries (DAV), IVS – Institute of Pension Actuaries, and German Society for Insurance and Financial Mathematics (DGVFM) congratulate the German team on their second place finish.
