Avoiding bias and discrimination in data science

The use of data science methods, especially AI, carries the risk that biased data may unintentionally reinforce prejudices and that statistical models and AI systems may discriminate in a legal sense. The result report outlines technical and organizational measures to reduce bias, provides recommendations for action, and explains the guidelines of EIOPA, BaFin, and the EU AI Act. The goal is to raise awareness of potential risks and promote responsible AI use.
