Practical use of alternative fixed income and equity
Overview
The results report covers the practical use of alternative fixed income and equity in the insurance context and concerns actuaries in investment management, risk management, or actuarial functions. Using infrastructure debt and equity as examples, as well as large-scale real estate financing, the possible applications in insurance companies' investments, the investment forms common in the capital market, the return and risk profiles, as well as investment, risk management, and controlling processes, are examined.
