Commercial accounting of pension obligations assumed for consideration
Overview
This report addresses issues relating to the valuation and accounting of pension and similar long-term obligations assumed for consideration in the purchaser's commercial balance sheet during initial and subsequent valuation. It concerns actuaries who, in their role as actuarial experts, determine provisions for pension and similar long-term obligations in accordance with commercial law principles for the annual financial statements of companies prepared under commercial law.
